Caps 'n Plugs Develops the Lug Hugger Another Product for the Trucking and Trailer Industry
ROCHESTER, Mich. (August 29, 2006)—Caps 'n Plugs has developed a low cost alternative to "Protecting Your Nuts." This new product is called the Lug Hugger. What are Lug Huggers? They are vinyl caps that are available in various sizes, which provide a secure fit over a lug nut, giving it protection from the elements as well as enhancing the appearance of the truck and trailer.
Harman developed this product to provide an alternative to expensive metal caps, which are difficult to apply, remove, and will corrode over time. These caps can be put on, taken off, without special tools. Currently the Lug Hugger is being sold through various truck stops throughout the U.S. Harman's next step is to offer this product to manufacturers, freight, and logistic companies. With the capability to provide standard, and custom colors, Harman will be able to meet any customer needs.
